The FAIRTREAT-Label supports victims and academic institutions in dealing with sexual harassement:
Fairtreat analyses
Fairtreat analyses the current measures in academic institutions, their preparation and the effectiveness of their procedures in case of sexual harassment.
Fairtreat counsels
Fairtreat works together with the institutions and their designated organs to find the best ways to implement the guidelines and to strengthen their procedures in case of sexual harassment.
Fairtreat raises awareness
Fairtreat wants to raise awareness with tailored trainings and workshops for employers and employees on the topics of sexual harassment in order to raise their awareness of what sexual harassment means, what they can do against it, and what steps to take in case of one.
Fairtreat certifies
After an analysis of the situation, a counseling process, the implementation of the developed guidelines, and the necessary awareness trainings, Fairtreat certifies the institution with the Fairtreat label, showing that the institution takes sexual harassment seriously and has a clear plan of action against it.
Fairtreat monitors
Fairtreat monitors the institution’s compliance to the standards in a 2-year cycle. Victims of sexual harassment can turn to Fairtreat at any moment to report wrongdoings. Fairtreat cooperates with the academic institutions to make sure that victims are effectively supported according to FAIRTREAT standards.Entry into Programme: November 2018, ChancenNutzer Frankfurt
