Gutleut-Tage
11.06.2019
The Gutleutviertel is a biotope of cultures.
Between Frankfurt's main railway station, the motorway and the river Main, a colorful variety is given in about two kilometers, from the modern Westhafen, to a sailing school or the largest center of Deutsche Post in Germany. In between are small shops, authentic personalities and interesting stories. Multicultural, from poor to rich, around 7.000 people live and work in the Gutleutviertel.
There is a lack of meeting places, offers and cohesion. Which solution are there?
The INITIATIVE GUTLEUTVIERTEL has set itself the task of making the identity of the neighborhood visible to the outside world. Information should be better distributed locally and residents should network with each other. For visitors and tourists, the exploration of the area should be exciting and interesting.
The main part of the project is an "interactive walk" through the neighborhood with a cultural week, the "Gutleut-Tage".
From Sa., the 10th - Sa., the 17th of August 2019 the sixth "Gutleut-Tage" will take place. Guided tours such as through the Mainova thermal power station, the mail center or the old milk sack factory are part of this cultural week. Workshops, lectures and festivals are offered. The exact program will be published in the middle of July on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/DasGutleutviertelimWandelEntry into Programme: May 2019, ChancenNutzer Frankfurt
