Internationale Jugendbegegnungen für ALLE!

International youth work offers young people opportunities for education, personal development and participation in a world shaped by globalisation. It contributes to peacekeeping and tolerance, counteracts discriminatory and racist attitudes and raises awareness of diversity and coexistence in the migration society.

International experiences help young people to try out themselves, to speak new languages, to get to know people with different cultural backgrounds and to come to terms with their own cultural identity. It is not only longer-term stays that shape their personality, but also short-term encounters (school exchanges, internships) or other formats of international exchange have a positive influence on their development.

Secondary school pupils, vocational school pupils and secondary modern school pupils as well as children and young people with special needs are clearly underrepresented in international exchange. Exchange needs support in order to be opened up to new target groups.

As a coordinator for international youth exchanges and exchanges of professionals, I would like to support schools, associations and other youth welfare institutions in organising and carrying out international youth and/or professional exchanges. I offer support from the beginning to the end of the project (planning, preparation, implementation, follow-up).
